Schools on the Move is a school-based pedometer promotion for  9-13 year olds, designed to encourage pupils to become more active.

Now in its second year, the project will be running in 250 new schools throughout England, helping to get even more young people active. To celebrate, Concept 2, the indoor rowing specialists, are supporting the project and have loaned the use of 200 rowing machines to over 60 lucky schools taking part in the project.

This website offers a variety of interactive features, ideas and support materials, for pupils, teachers and health professionals working with schools, demonstrating how areas of school life can play a positive role in encouraging young people to be more active
